From my first arrest in Atlanta Georgia in 1996 as an ADAPT activist, I kept a record of the national ADAPT actions. I was called the ADAPT "Web guy" and augmented my ADAPT Action Report on the web with photos, first-hand interviews and my own reflections. On this thread in orange are some of my favorite people and actions.
I have crossed the Continent three times on my bicycle and I have an appriciation of landscapes, sunset and surf. I also attempt to show photos that tell something about me in what I see. This is the green thread below:
In 2014 I moved to Memphis Tennessee and have taken time to understand and photograph some of the people and places in the area. Sports, buildings, and barbeque make up a slice of life but there is more and I am continuing to explore this topic everyday. This is a blue link.
People is the purple thread and if you follow this you will learn that although I love people as a topic, I don't like portraits and poses. I have met some really fantastic people, while they are not all here, their is a small selection of my favorites and I tell what I like and don't like about photos of people.
