23 Spiderweb
The background of this photo is a house that is being rebuilt just down the street. I can see it from my porch, but it has been about nine months since they have done any work on the house. It is growing other occupants, this spider is one.
The photo is of the web, and I just couldn't believe how bright the strands of silk show up. I have tried to get spider photos in the past but I was never able to get the web to light-up so much. This web is lit only by sunlight, I plan to try to duplicate the lighting with an off-camera flash when I next run across a big spider web.
This photo was made with my SONY 7r with the 70-200mm f4 lens.
