30 Historically Hip Cooper-Young

This is an odd city. And right at the corner of Cooper and Young I met this artist who showed me his drawing of the Bluff City Soap store.

I cropped the photo to get the light pole in, as it is in the picture the subject is holding. But the guy is by far the focus of this photo. The story you see has more questions than answers. I wish I knew the story behind everyone that I photograph, there is obviously more to this story than I know and the photo points to more story than the photo will tell.

Historically Hip may be a hopeful way of looking at my neighborhood.

I made this photo with my SONY 7r with my 35mm Carl Zeiss f2.8 lens.
