Margie and Judy

February 21, 2016

I used my Sony 70-200mm zoom at Shelby Forest that day to photograph wildlife, but the best photo I made was of Judy and her mom picking daffodils. What I like about this photo is the bokeh. I also notice that wall of trees from the perspective of the camera.

I put the horizon in the middle of the photo to highlight the foreground blur, but I could have been more subtle and cropped out more of the foreground.

The rows of trees and the long rows of daffodils are a really stunning part of visiting Margie’s home north of Memphis. There are other photos of the driveway, but I like this shot because it has the two women walking and picking flowers.
